Erika Jackson

Vice President, Strategic Leadership Team, Active Adult

Erika has over 20 years of leadership experience within corporate,
divisional, regional, and community levels within the senior living
industry supporting asset management, marketing, operations,
and sales functions within both faith-based non-profit and for-profit
organizations. Erika’s background includes leadership positions
with both national and regional providers such as Brookdale Senior
Living and Bethel New Life. In addition, she is credentialed as a Tax
Credit Specialist with the National Center for Housing Management,
a Certified Marketing Professional through Life Services Network
(now Leading Age Illinois), a member and RISE Fellow of The
American Society on Aging, The Gerontological Society of America,
The International Federation on Ageing, and The American College
of Healthcare Executives. Erika is also a member of Sigma Phi
Omega, The International Academic Honor and Professional Society in Gerontology. Erika earned her Baccalaureate of Arts Degree in Marketing Communications from Purdue University and her Master’s in Business Administration as well. Her person-centered leadership philosophy drives her passion and commitment to inspire and develop the next generation of servant leaders within
the ageing services industry. Erika has been featured as an expert in the senior living industry sharing insights and helpful information
regarding community engagement, lifestyle transitions, and senior
housing options on TV, radio, and in print publications.


Erika is a mother of three, grandmother of five, and active in her
community. Her volunteer work includes serving women, children,
and the arts community serving on the Board-Of-Directors of two
non-profit organizations in the Chicagoland Community. She also
enjoys archery.
